College: Jerger competed four years in beach volleyball at Florida State. In her freshman season she had a 13-5 match record on courts three through five, mostly alongside Annie Montgomery. She ended with a 27-10 record as a sophomore, mostly with Victoria Paranagua on courts two through four, with 13 victories coming against ranked opponents. As a junior she led her team to a national runner-up finish. Jerger had a 32-10 record, with most of her matches coming with Sara Putt, and that duo won 19 consecutive matches during the year. In her senior season she played with two different partners and then won her first 12 matches with new partner Kate Privett. Jerger ended the year 30-7 and became the seventh player in FSU history to reach 100 career wins (102-32 career record). Jerger was a three-time conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year.Personal: Jerger was an AVCA All-American in beach volleyball in high school, as her team twice advanced to the state Final Four. She was ranked as the sixth best outside hitter by MaxPreps and was recognized with the highest GPA Award in the state of Florida.
