Cole started playing beach volleyball when she began college in 2004. A well-rounded indoor player, she developed a passion for the beach game. Cole partnered with a college teammate, Daina Marsh both before and after her two-year stint in the Peace Corps in Mozambique. Cole has one brother and two sisters.
