Bio Bits

Born in Honolulu and raised in Ventura, CA, Alex grew up primarily a tennis player and earned a tennis scholarship at Washington State University where he earned PAC-10 All Conference Honors in 1994. He graduated with a Business Administration degree, and has been playing competitive volleyball and improving every year since 2000. Some of his favorite AVP players to watch and learn from are Dax Holdren and Scott Ayakatubby because they are about his size and have excellent all-around volleyball skills. He is currently an Information Technology instructor and assistant women's volleyball coach at Oxnard College.
