Bio Bits

Mailander and her twin sister Julia were co-MVPs of Northern Nevada State Zone in 2005 and were both ranked first in their senior class. Both were four-year memebers of the Nevada State all-academic team, with each receiving the Harvard Book Prize in 2005. Lydia was also a member of the track team all four years in high school and was the 2005 U.S.A. National Charles Dickens Essay Competition winner. Both are outside hitters at Yale.
