College: Martinez plays beach volleyball at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo. As a freshman she played mostly on court one with Piper Ferch, compiling a 19-19 record while earning all-conference honors. As a sophomore she went 27-11 while playing almost exclusively on court one with Ella Connor. They were the Big West Pair of the Year and she was named AVCA All-American. Martinez went 30-8 as a junior on court two with Logan Walter.
