College: Perez plays beach volleyball at UCLA. As a freshman she finished with a 31-4 record on court one with partner Maggie Boyd. In her first collegiate match she won a three-set match over TCU's Daniela Alvarez and Tania Moreno, who completed in the 2024 Paris Olympics and who would go on to win the 2025 NCAA National Championship.
Personal: Perez has one older brother, Samuel. In three years of playing indoor high school volleyball she tallied 1,311 kills, 423 digs and 122 aces.
